Some Like it HOT, we do too, but we also like it SAFE:

Hot/Heated Yoga Policy

1. Health & Safety Considerations:

  • Hydration is essential. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after class to prevent dehydration.

  • Listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell, take a seated break or step out of the room if necessary.

  • Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or those who are pregnant should consult a healthcare provider before attending.

  • Hot Yoga is recommended for participants 18 and older. Younger individuals may join with prior approval and parental consent.

2. Class Etiquette:

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for acclimation to the heated environment.

  • Silence all electronic devices before entering the studio.

  • Be mindful of personal hygiene, as excessive fragrances can affect others in the heated space.

  • Use a yoga mat and towel for hygiene and safety purposes.

  • Respect the quiet, meditative atmosphere of the space before and after class.

3. Post-Class Recommendations:

  • Cool down gradually after class and allow your body time to adjust to normal temperatures.

  • Rehydrate with water or electrolyte-rich beverages.

  • Avoid consuming heavy meals immediately before or after class.

Use of Sauna Policy

1. General Guidelines:

  • The sauna is available for relaxation and recovery purposes. Please limit use to a maximum of 30 minutes per session.

  • Hydrate adequately before and after sauna use to prevent dehydration.

  • If you experience dizziness, nausea, or discomfort, exit the sauna immediately.

  • Use a towel when sitting on sauna benches for hygiene purposes.

2. Health & Safety Considerations:

  • Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or those who are pregnant should consult a healthcare provider before using the sauna.

  • The sauna is not recommended for children under 16. Minors must have parental supervision and approval.

  • Avoid alcohol consumption before sauna use, as it may increase the risk of dehydration or dizziness.

3. Sauna Etiquette:

  • Shower before entering the sauna to ensure cleanliness.

  • Do not bring food, beverages, or personal items inside the sauna.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and comfortable space for all members. If you have any health concerns, please consult with a professional before participating in Hot Yoga or using the sauna.
